As America approaches its 250th birthday, believers from across the nation are being invited to gather for a historic day of worship, prayer, and thanksgiving at the “Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving” event on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on May 17, 2026. Organized by Freedom 250, the event will unite churches, faith leaders, public servants, worship artists, and families from all 50 states for a day focused on seeking God and giving thanks for His faithfulness throughout America’s history.
The celebration will feature worship, Scripture, testimonies, choirs, military bands, and appearances from notable Christian leaders including Franklin Graham, Jack Graham, Samuel Rodriguez, and many others. Christian artist Chris Tomlin is also scheduled to participate in the all-day gathering.
Organizers describe the event as “more than an event — it is a once in a lifetime national moment,” encouraging Americans to pray for God’s guidance and blessing for the next generation. Admission is free, and churches nationwide are encouraged to participate in person or via livestream.
