Amos 8:7—9:1

God does not forget our deeds, whether good or evil. A dark day in Israel warns us that a famine of the Word of God can happen to any nation that rejects His Word and that, as part of their judgment, ten tribes shall never return to the Northern Kingdom after their captivity.
